About Django
I have been tutoring A-level; History, English Literature and Politics for over 3 years. Tutoring requires you to inspire and engage your students in an enthusiastic and captivating way. You have to determine what works best for your students and must work around them in an enthusiastic and captivating way. I adapt my teaching method to the individual, as no one works the same for every student. There is no such thing as a bad student only a bad teacher (as cheesy as that sounds). I like to make my students as passionate as I am about their subjects and through this passion is the best way, not only to have to learn for their exams, but to want to learn, which will give them the qualities to truly attain the highest grades.

My teaching methodology:
1) Direct approach:
• This is directly explaining to the student the topic at hand – expecting them to make notes as you speak to them one on one. I make notes on the board as well as make sure they are up to date with the work at hand.
2) Collaborative approach
• You all work together, you put a question on the board – the outcome isn’t pre-determined/- and you work together to find out what exactly was the issue – still a more direct form but you squeeze the info out of the students
In terms of essay work I like to take a collaborative approach - teaching the student how to do it, bit by bit so they can work it out for themselves through re-enforcement, rather than it simply being said to them.
