About Maja
I have a Master's Degree in TESOL and over fourteen years of teaching experience. I have taught a wide variety of students from various backgrounds. I am a highly professional TESOL teacher with experience in the development and delivery of language programmes encompassing different levels, from beginners to advanced students, including teaching Academic English at two prestigious universities in Sydney, Macquarie Uni and UNSW.

I often develop activities which are inclusive, and which promote fun. Humour really is the best medicine. In my experience, a class filled with laughter and energy and noise is a class that everyone wants to join. This, in turn, creates a thirst for learning by capitalisation on the engagement students show. There is nothing more effective in bringing people together than jokes and laughter, as it breaks down barriers. I was nominated for teaching excellence by my students at Macquarie university, which was an honour.
