Lessons are centred around the close-reading aspect of the exam; teaching students to recognise bias within a text; the various literary techniques utilised by authors to get their point across; and instructing students on how to formulate answers that not only demonstrate their literary abilities, but will also meet the requirements of the exam's marking scheme.
