About Zipho
My name is Zipho Shabalala
I am currently doing my final year, studying for a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English. I am a sportsman, I play hockey and I enjoy spending time meeting new people and getting to know what people like and do not like, what they believe and do not believe. I have worked as an intern at Penryn College, and I have worked as a personal tutor as well. I tutored a young man who was in grade 8. I tutored him in all of his subjects, I was basically a homeschool facilitator. My passion is education especially around English since it is a universal language and I want everybody, especially youngsters, to learn how to use the English language to advance their careers and understand everything that is happening around them including politics

As someone who has studied English and Psychology, my tutoring methods are different from most. As an English tutor, I believe it is important to not just use the English language as a way of communicating but also as a way of thinking critically in order to understand the world around you. The types of lessons I would like to implement will look at the basics of English, including things like vocabulary, punctuation, and grammar. The biggest aspect of English that I believe people need to know is critical thinking.
