About Carmen
I am about to graduate in English Studies and I have been teaching private classes since I was 16 years old. I have a lot of experience with people of all ages, but more specifically with levels from primary to high school. As a professional experience I have to add that I have been in a high school in which I have a letter of recommendation that I would have no problem teaching.

My teaching method is varied. It is important not to have in mind only one methodology since each student has some skills when it comes to acquiring a language. I like to do a series of tests at the beginning, more like games, to see the different abilities and also difficulties. This makes it easier to adapt the different activities to the student. I like to teach in a didactic way, especially when it comes to smaller students because it attracts much more attention. And for the older ones, I like to get involved so I can give advice that I would have needed when learning English. Of course I play all the different skills that must be acquired: oral production, written production, oral comprehension and written comprehension but I do not like to do it in a very mechanical way by means of a large number of exercises since that makes attention and motivation decrease.
