About Ladi
I graduated in Fine Arts ten years ago. After that, I decided to direct my career towards the area of education so I studied a Masters degree at Teaching. This gave me the skills and confidence I needed to start working as a teacher, so right after finishing my Masters I started giving English lessons to to kids (in individual as well as group classes). Finally, in 2018 I had the opportunity to start working at a Language School as an Engish teacher. During my time working in this place I could learn a lot from other teachers and from my students as well. During this time I also started to work wih adults who wanted to learn English language for different purposes (working, studying, travelling,...). Finally, I decided to move to Canada this year and it is being a great opportunity for my career. I have just started a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course and everyday I keep on learning as much as possible about this language.

In my classes (especially individual classes) I try to adapt to the needs of each student. Depending on whether they prefer to practice only conversation or if they prefer to focus on grammar. In any case, based on the level of the student with an initial test, I structure my classes based on themes through which I can introduce new vocabulary, relate it to the grammatical part and always try to use the conversation as a way to practice what learned in class as well as listening.
