About Loren
Good day. I am a friendly and excitable person. I enjoy laughing and meeting new people. I graduated high school with honorary colours in academics and am highly proficient academically. I am also a BCom (Human Resources) graduate and have been working as a Human Resources Administrator for almost 2 years. During my employment I learned several skills related to business English as well as skills for successful people relations. I won our internal Rhino award for excellent customer service as well as our recent Innovation Award for a new process that will save company time. I am an extremely creative person and very interested in what makes people unique i.e. their personality, unique skills and attributes. I want to have a career as an online teacher, because I simply enjoy speaking to students (I did a lot of public speaking) and finding ways to enhance students and to make sure they understand what they are being taught.

I teach by using the Present, Practice and Produce method while allowing students plenty of interaction and speaking time during class. I do this so that students can practice speaking English as much as possible. I will rather provide students with activities to practice their skills rather than simply explaining everything (students may loose concentration and interest and not remember as effectively. I firmly believe that eliciting correct answers from students before giving them the answers increases learning. I adjust teaching method towards the individual needs of each student in order for them to learn and remember as much as possible.
