About Laura
I have been teaching high school English as a certified teacher for 2.5 years. Previously, I taught a college research class and a child psychology seminar at the University of Wisconsin, and I tutored a student in Psychology. I have also taught summer art classes for 2 years.

I am a patient and effective teacher with experience teaching high school and college students. I believe in teaching that is engaging and relevant to students' lives. I am open to feedback and to tailoring instruction to my students' needs.
I have been teaching high school English for three years, and I have a Master's degree in teaching from National Louis University. Previously, I worked as a Psychology tutor for 2 years, and I taught summer art classes for 4 years. As a current high school teacher, I focus on literacy, grammar, writing, ACT prep, and study skills.
