I have a bachelor degree in teaching English as a foreign language and have worked in private schools and academies for more than 10 years helping kids in the language acquisition. My mother language is Spanish so I can help you with that as well.

My teaching methodology depends on the lesson and the student. Normally I ask questions to know my students' level and knowledge of the topic, then I introduce the new vocabulary and once it is familiar I explain the grammar structures, then we practice them with a reading paragraph, a song, a game or roleplay.
