About Katherine
I have had a variety of teaching experiences from online to classroom to tutoring. I have taught 1000's of students during my career and have enjoyed all of my classroom environments whether they be in a classroom or through a webcam. Still to this day, I receive appreciation messages from students whom I taught in the past. It makes my day!

My name is Katherine, and I have been in the education business for over 20 years. I taught high school English for 12 years before moving on to teaching online for the local community college system. I have authored courses for the college and serve as a lead instructor for them. I have also written a children's book which was published in 2012.
I hold Bachelor and Masters degrees in English and Teaching respectively from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. I have a current teaching certificate in secondary English and a Reading specialist endorsement.
