English is my mother tongue. I lived in India for the first 6 years of my life. But no worry! "In school, the principle of" first learn, then use! "Still applies. But you learn a language by using it. ” ~ Otto Jespersen I want to teach you this philosophy! You probably hardly speak English in your everyday life. I want to support you as much as possible. I like to use the free hour to: - get to know you - assess your abilities - set goals and topics - clarify organizational matters. I always want to speak English to you (if possible) and practice vocabulary / grammar / listening and reading comprehension every week. All of this will take place interactively. However, you cannot avoid writing in a language. Therefore I will also ask you to write handwritten texts and send them to me. I then correct them and we discuss them together. As an addition, I also like to include English videos, for example from the British Council or BBC. I also find books an exciting medium. If you are not reading a book in class, maybe I will read a book with you so that we can train your vocabulary and reading comprehension.
