About Morris
Currently I am a grade 10 student accelerating in Math Methods and Food studies. I have always believed that English should be an enjoyable subject. As a top preforming english student I will be able to fix your mistakes and place you in a position for improvement. I speak Cantonese and my parents are able to speak Chinese if there are any language barriers. For math, I am one of the only 5 students in the top extension program for Huntingtower. I specialize in teaching students who wish to be high achieving, as well as those aiming for grade 3,5,7,9 scholarships. I am able to slow down my teaching to better suit those who are not as confident so feel free to message me.

English is a subject which revolves around the understanding of ideas moreover than the abilities to produce such ideas. With older students, I will teach them how to analyse texts and films to best prepare them for VCE or help improve their writing structure. Younger students, around grade 3-6, will learn how to properly produce narrative and persuasive texts. I am quite talkative and hope to boost the confidence of my students alongside their academic abilities.

I currently do maths methods with Morris at school. He's a great teacher and friend, he'll make sure you understand a concept if you don't know it well. I think he'd make a great contribution to the Superprof community just because of his calm teaching style and the way he goes about things and teaching, cracking the occasional jokes too.
Morris is not just your average math teacher. What sets him apart is not just his deep understanding of mathematics and how its content is shaped in the Victorian curriculum, but how he connects with students. Morris is that friendly face you can approach with any math problem, making learning feel like a collaborative journey rather than a chore His feedback is very insightful. It's not just about what you did right or wrong; it's a map for improvement. He helps you understand and reward your wins but meanwhile also guides you through the rough patches with a step-by-step plan for growth.
