About Aubrey
I am warm and friendly. I love learning and I love helping others learn. I am very patient, and as a past teacher and attorney, I have learned to vary my teaching strategies to meet students where they are and help them excel in personalized ways that are meaningful and effective for them. Literacy is critical to success. Access to language opens us up to new experiences and ideas. I would be grateful to assist any student on their journey as they learn and expand their mind.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Latin American Studies from UC San Diego. I took lots of language and literature classes. I did private tutoring in both Spanish and English throughout college. I became a substitute teacher and taught High School English for about 4 months in a long-term sub role. I then attended law school at the University of San Diego. I am now an attorney at non-profit organization. Reading and writing is a huge, critical part of my job.
