About Helen
I have been teaching English for Home language as well as First Additional language on and off for altogether 25 years, mostly for High School learners up to grade 12. However, I have also taught grades 4 to 7. My passion is empowering people to learn, to grow in life skills, while being caring, disciplined and respectful towards all life forms, i.e. humans, animals and vegetation. I have a low tolerance towards laziness, disrespect and selfishness. I have also worked in the private sector, which I feel equips me to share knowledge of the "big, wide world" and what is expected from successful employees, as well as employers, consumers and service providers.
