About Nafisa

I am currently an assistant accountant with 5 years of tutoring experience. I have taught a range of students from KS1 up to A Levels in various subjects. I specialise in teaching science and English at GCSE level across all exam boards and have also taught maths until KS3.

About the lesson

My lessons are usually 1-2 hours long, I start off by establishing a rapport with the student so they feel comfortable and confident learning with me. We discuss and focus on areas they do not feel confident in and I create a learning plan best suited for their needs. Within the lesson, we first learn the content and then apply the knowledge through exam practice. I then identify areas for improvement and then slowly build on them on their learning journey.
