About Dhruti
Hi! My name is Dhruti, and I am currently studying Medicine at Bond University on the Gold Coast. I completed high school in New Zealand, where I achieved Excellence in English and Biology, and I have a strong understanding of both the NCEA and Australian secondary school learning environments.
I offer tutoring in English for students across Years 7–12. I am also happy to provide interview preparation for students applying to medical schools, drawing on my own experience going through the medical school application and interview process.
I believe that consistent, structured learning is key to academic success. In our first lesson, I will identify your strengths, areas for improvement and learning goals so that we can develop a personalized approach that works for you. My lessons focus on building a strong understanding of core concepts before applying that knowledge through practice questions, exam-style tasks and targeted revision. I also provide detailed feedback and encourage students to ask questions and develop confidence in their abilities.
My goal is to make lessons engaging, supportive and tailored to each student, while helping them become more independent and confident learners.

My Approach to Tutoring and Teaching Techniques and Methodology:
* Simplifying complex concepts into clear, understandable explanations
* Active recall and practice-based learning
* Regular testing through exam-style questions and mock exams
* Personalized feedback on practice exams, questions, and school assignments
* Interview tactics and personalized feedback to help you feel more confident.
Typical Lesson Length will be 60 minutes (flexible depending on student needs). Online lessons are preferred but if a student wishes to get tutored in-person, I am more than happy to arrange lessons at Bond University libraries or Robina, according to convenience (is up for negotiation).
Qualifications and Experience:
* Current medical student at Bond University and a strong academic background is present
* Strong experience in medical interviews as I have experience
* Experience in peer tutoring and mentoring
* Experience working with students through learning support and coaching
