About Macy

I have bachelor's degrees in history and anthropology, with a minor in English. I have been tutoring since I was in high school, and have worked with literacy and writing programs for the past 15 years. I am currently a graduate student at Portland State University, and would love to help your student reach their full potential.

About the lesson

I prefer an individualized approach, with a high emphasis on encouragement and helping students find the joy in learning. I've found that students of all ages learn better in a supportive environment that takes their individual needs and goals into consideration, and my goal is to provide that for all of my students
