About Mariesa
I am a very patient and nurturing person am I love to help and support children in their learning. I find it incredibly rewarding watching children make progress from my lessons.
I am also a positive and friendly person and would describe myself as being approachable. In my lesson children do not feel afraid to make mistakes and ask questions which is important to their progress.

I am a primary teacher with 6 years experience teaching in UK primary schools and in a Dubai international school. I have taught children from age 5-11 and am experienced in teaching the UK National Curriculum for England in all subjects.
I like to make my lessons fun and enjoyable through engaging resources and would describe myself as caring, supportive and conscientious.
I have taught a wide variety of children including children with English as an additional language on an online platform in China previously. The children were able to speak a good level of English by the time they had finished the tutoring sessions. In the past I have also tutored children for SATS and exams such as 11+ and have had positive feedback from parents and good exam results. I have always received positive feedback from both students and parents.
I am extremely approachable and understanding when it comes to children who find subjects difficult and try to make my lessons personalised for each child. I have high expectations and I feel that this allows children to be successful and challenge themselves. I believe mistakes are healthy and that children learn from making them so always prompt children to have a go!
