About Charlotte
I am a University student currently studying Early Childhood Education with plans to teach overseas in Japan. I have had 8 years experience learning the Japanese language and recently participated in a scholarship homestay at a Highschool in Japan. While I have mostly taught in early childhood environments, I am open to teaching any age. I have taught my sister (Grade 5) the basics of Japanese and the results of this have been high grades in her Japanese classes and an enthusiasm to continue learning the language.

My personal teaching philosophy is that learning should be a fun experience for children that leaves them excited and looking forward to the next lesson! For this reason, my lessons are typically aimed at teaching the various aspects of Japanese while most importantly ensuring the child is enjoying themselves! I am comfortable teaching reading, writing, listening and speaking aspects of the language and I welcome any and all types of learners to attend my lessons.
