About Sonia
I have worn multiple hats in my previous professions, from Non-Profit to Corporate, however, Teaching has turned out to be my passion filled destiny. I have over 3 years of classroom instruction experience, and teaching English has always been an important goal of mine. Currently, I am enrolled in TEFL and TESOL certification courses to further satisfy the requirements to teach students with ESL needs. My degree was focused towards pedagogy and instructional management, hence, I acquired about 2,800 hours of instruction, including coaching ESL students, and 50+ accredited units of relevant coursework. My passion for fostering interactive and productive educational environment has successfully empowered my former ESL students.

My teaching method would depend on my students' needs, I am very comfortable with switching between Teacher-centered and Student-centered methodology and lesson approach.
