About Gergana
I believe that good education and training can have a tremendous impact on one’s life, and changing lives is what teaching is about. As an academic writing tutor with more than 5 years of experience, I can describe myself as an organized, motivated, and positive person, with attention to detail and determined to deliver up to the required working standards. Fluent in English and Bulgarian, I have passion for academic writing and tutoring, an enthusiasm for acquiring new skills and knowledge, and a goal-oriented, but also creative approach to my work. I believe that personal motivation and hard work is the key to professional success. Personally, I can say I am a methodological and devoted worker. Colleagues and former employers describe me as a flexible and enthusiastic self-starter and students feel inspired, motivated, and confident after working with me.
I hold a BA in Political Science, a BA in European Union Studies, and an MA in International Relations. Over the past five years I have tutored students in a variety of academic disciplines, on undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD, and A - level. I also work with a lot of mature students. I teach academic writing techniques for essays, assignments, and dissertations, tailored according to the degree requirements, and personal needs of the student. I tutor on a one to one basis, as well as small support groups.
