I’m Lizzy — a passionate educator, entrepreneur, and lifelong learner. By day, I’m a full-time teacher at a private institution where I teach Math, English Language, Information Technology, Technical Drawing, and Human & Social Biology. It’s demanding work, but deeply rewarding. Watching my students grow in confidence and capability is one of the greatest joys of my life. Over the years, I’ve come to realize that teaching isn’t just a job — it’s a calling. But my journey doesn’t end in the classroom. I’ve always believed that education should be accessible, flexible, and dynamic, which is why I began building my own online tutoring agency. What started as private lessons on weekends quickly grew into something much bigger. Now, I teach and manage a growing team of tutors who provide both private and group classes across subjects — especially JAMB tutorials, which help prepare students for one of Nigeria’s most important exams. I remember when I first started teaching online. I used to teach students in person, sometimes from my living room or after school hours. But soon, I realized something powerful: students don’t need to be in the same room to learn effectively. With the right tools and approach, learning can happen anytime, anywhere. Online education has transformed my work. Tools like Zoom, Google Meet, and digital whiteboards have opened new doors for students and teachers alike. I’ve had the privilege of working with learners from all over — kids preparing for JAMB, adults learning English, and young minds in need of mentorship and guidance. It’s amazing what we can accomplish when we remove physical boundaries and focus on impact. Beyond classes, I’ve built a flexible learning system that helps students stay engaged and grow. Whether it’s sending out weekly progress reports, holding peer-to-peer learning sessions, or curating blogs and bite-sized content for revision, I’m constantly evolving the way I teach. My goal is always the same: to help each student reach their full potential — not just academically, but personally. I believe in structure and support. That’s why I’ve built my tutoring agency with systems — timetables, reminders, learning materials, and accountability tools. I’ve even started training and assigning responsibilities to trusted team members to make sure every student gets the attention they deserve. Being an online teacher has also given me freedom — to pursue my education in pharmacy, work on my fitness goals, develop my spiritual life, and explore my love for digital marketing and brand building. I’m currently the assistant prayer coordinator for my fellowship, and I also serve in multiple leadership roles that push me to keep growing. Of course, it hasn’t always been easy. There were days I doubted myself, questioned whether I could juggle it all. But each challenge only made me stronger, more resourceful, and more determined to make a difference. Whether it’s helping a young child solve their first math problem, preparing a student for JAMB, or building a social media strategy for a brand — I show up with purpose, passion, and the belief that anything is possible when you’re willing to grow. So if you’re a student looking to learn, a parent seeking reliable support, or a fellow educator who’s trying to figure things out — I see you. I’ve been there. And I’m here to help. See you in class
