About Isabella
Hi! My name is Isabella and I am a 21-year-old student at Temple University living in Philadelphia. I am in the midst of my senior year and graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Public Health in May. I have a cumulative gpa of 3.85. After I graduate I plan to attend University of Pennsylvania to obtain a Masters in Social Work. I have always had a passion for learning and love finding creativity in everyday learning. During my time in college, I have worked as a peer tutor in an after-school program. I am also passionate and involved in many associations for Equal Rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and Female rights. I think that education is one of the fundamental pieces of life and I would love to help others achieve their academic goals. l In my free time, I love reading, creatively writing, thrifting, and making jewelry. My favorite book is The Great Gatsby.

My teaching method is flexible and created to suit individual needs. I let students guide me on what specifically they need help with! I have knowledge in clinical, cognitive, developmental, and positive psychology. As well, I experienced in psychopathology, neuroscience, epidemiology, feminist philosophy, creative writing, statistics, human sexuality, criminal justice, disease prevention, nutrition, and a plethora of other topics. Education is not only obtained in classroom but in our everyday lives. I create a practical teaching environment that learning methods can also be utilized in everyday life experiences. I center my lessons around the fact that everyone learns in a different way. I have ample instructional videos, notes, examples, quizlets and books to aid in learning. As I student myself I can understand how academia can feel tedious but I promise I will keep you motivated while also making learning fun! Although my lessons would mainly suit undergraduate students I also have designated lessons for middle school, high school, and elementary topics.
