About Luna
I began my acting journey at the age of 7, performing as Lucy Lettuce in The 5 A Day Play in elementary school. From starring in Oliver Twist in fifth grade to founding my high school drama club and landing lead roles in productions like A Raisin in the Sun and Sorry, Wrong Number, I’ve been passionate about acting my whole life. I later studied at the John Robert Powers talent agency, where I honed my skills in acting, improv, and auditioning for television and commercials. In college, I pursued Motion Picture and Television Production and transitioned into teaching in 2015 at the Nest of Living Arts, where I wrote over 10 plays for our theater productions and coached actors ranging in age from 5 to 91. With years of experience both on stage and as an instructor, I bring a deep understanding of acting to every lesson.

I offer a personalized and engaging approach to acting, blending traditional methods with modern performance techniques. My focus is on building strong fundamentals in vocal work, body awareness, and emotional depth, while fostering creativity and stage presence. I tailor lessons to each student's level, from beginners to advanced actors, providing constructive feedback to help them grow. Teaching Methods and Techniques: I incorporate exercises based on Stanislavski, Meisner, and improvisation, guiding students through scene studies and monologues.
What does a typical lesson plan look like?
Warm-Up: to prepare the body and vocal cords for creative work.
Technique Practice: Focused acting exercises to work on specific acting techniques including scene study, monologues, and improv. Performance
Coaching: Students perform scenes or monologues, and I provide personalized feedback on delivery, emotional connection, and stage presence.
Recap of the lesson: highlighting progress and setting goals for the next session. I like to also assign a piece of work to either study a scene or character or provide a prompt for script writing.
What Sets Me Apart: With a background in both acting and scriptwriting, including credits for Haunted Within, Animaltronix, and NOLASTRONG I offer a unique perspective on character development and storytelling. Creativity is at the forefront of my teaching. I love to allow my students the opportunity to be storytellers, rather than simply focusing on published pieces. My experience in directing and production ensures students are always stage-ready and prepared for auditions, competitions and performances.
Who the Lessons Are For: I teach students ages 5-25, from beginner to advanced levels, focusing on building confidence, stage presence, and acting technique. Whether for theater productions, auditions, public speaking, or personal growth, my lessons are tailored to each individual’s needs.
