I am an accomplished educator with over 10 years of experience as an instructor, teaching a wide range of subjects at different academic levels, including advanced courses at the college level. I see the importance of sharing the lessons of English with others and how much learning English can benefit people’s lives. Some of my students have gone on to pursue English as a subject at university or even as a career, while others have discovered it as a meaningful way to express themselves and develop a new skill outside of their professional lives.
I approach lessons with a student-first mentality. It is important to understand a student’s interests and motivations for learning, as this helps guide the path they will follow. Someone who wants to focus on creative writing may have different priorities than someone interested in academic or professional writing. However, there are always core fundamentals that apply to every learner, such as syntax, clarity, and style.
