About Laila
I began dancing at the age of three and started competitive dance when I was eight. My schedule quickly became very demanding, with hours of training each week while competing against some of the nation’s top dancers in my age division traveling around the country. Around age ten, I discovered my true passion for ballet and began focusing primarily on pointe, while continuing to study contemporary and modern as well. I continued my ballet training with studios including Terminus, Atlanta Ballet, the Ballet Institute of Atlanta, and Rise City Dance. Although I retired from dancing three years ago, I remain deeply passionate about ballet and love sharing my knowledge and experience with others.
