About Juliana
Hi! I’m Juliana, a trained artist and art therapist with a passion for helping others explore their creativity. I hold a BFA in Studio Art and a Master of Arts in Art Therapy, which enables me to offer both technical instruction and a more expressive, personalized approach to art-making. Whether you're looking to build skills in painting or drawing, or simply want a creative outlet, I tailor each session to meet your goals and interests. I’ve worked with children, adults, and seniors, and love making art accessible, encouraging, and fun for everyone.

My approach to facilitating art sessions is highly personalized. Some of my students are focused on building specific skills, such as colour mixing, portrait painting, or working with watercolour, while others enjoy creative prompts that encourage a more therapeutic, exploratory process.
With a background in both fine art and art therapy, I bring a unique blend of technical skill and a deep understanding of expressive, process-based art. I am experienced in acrylic and watercolour, and also work with oil paint, pastels, pencil, and digital media, among others.
This service is open to children, adults, and seniors of all skill levels. I have extensive experience leading expressive art sessions for seniors, supporting both creative engagement and social connection.
