About Rachael
I received formal piano instruction from age 4 to age 12 and have a firm grasp on the foundational skills of sight reading, as well as self-taught ease in improvisational playing alone and in group settings, as I have been leading teams from keys in various settings for the past twelve years. I currently hold an Associate's Degree of Theology and will graduate May 2019 with my Bachelor's of Biblical Studies. I have two years of private piano instruction experience under my belt and am excited to share my musical skills with others!

Learning to sight read fluently is the foundation. I teach through the Bastien curriculum and patiently guide the student through the basics of classic music notation, building on each concept week by week. If the student is dedicated to consistent practice, there is no limit to the excellence they can achieve.
