About Daniella
I am hard-working, senior in college. I attend Rider University where I am studying Business Administration and Sport Management.I am a dedicated student where I have been noticed plenty of time within the business schools executives well as maintaining great grades making me on Dean's list every semester sine my freshman year. I am also on the Division I Rider track and field team as a javelin thrower. Besides this, I also am involved on campus through work. My main source of work is tutoring for creative and research writing. Here, I attend the freshmen research writing classes every week and create lesson plans that I will teach them every Monday and Tuesday night. As a writing tutor, each week I create new lessons to teach. I give students neat tips and tricks to use while they are researching and writing about their topic of each essay. While being a tutor, I am sure to create safe spaces where students are not afraid to speak up and ask questions that others may be holding in at some points. I have great knowledge in the writing area and it can be shown through my coursework!

I first begin by building a positive and comfortable learning environment. You get to know each student's unique needs, goals, and challenges related to writing. Understanding their background, prior knowledge, and preferred learning style allows you to tailor your approach accordingly. I then establish specific learning objectives and goals for each tutoring session. These objectives may include improving grammar and punctuation, organizing ideas, strengthening arguments, enhancing clarity and coherence, or developing critical thinking skills. Clear objectives help focus the session and ensure progress is being made. After going through learning activities, I give the students a chance to practice hands-on work. By doing so, I review the student's writing samples, whether it's essays, research papers, or creative pieces, to identify strengths and areas for improvement. By analyzing their work, you can pinpoint recurring issues, such as grammar errors, lack of structure, weak thesis statements, or ineffective use of evidence. During tutoring sessions, you provide constructive feedback on the student's writing, highlighting both strengths and areas that need improvement. You offer specific suggestions for enhancing clarity, organization, coherence, and style. By focusing on the positive aspects and offering actionable feedback, I help the student build confidence and motivation.
