About Colin
I am an English teacher with eight years experience and I currently lead a busy department in developing the curriculum for English Language and English Literature GCSEs at Key Stage 4. I also teach A-Level English Literature and privately tutor pupils from 11+ through Key Stage 3 and A-Level.

My approach to teaching is to endeavour fully to understand how tutees learn in order to support them in making clear steps towards making progress and feeling more confident. I also aspire to ensure pupils enjoy accessing a range of literature and that this is an enriching experience.
