About Puvathaarani
I am a dedicated and responsible tutor who is passionate about helping students improve their language skills. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Teaching English as a Second Language (BTESL), which has provided me with strong knowledge in language teaching and effective learning strategies. Through my studies and teaching practice, I have gained experience in planning lessons, guiding students, and supporting their learning in a structured and engaging way.
I offer online lessons in English and Bahasa Melayu for students aged 7 to 15 years old. My lessons focus on developing the four essential language skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. I believe that every student learns at a different pace, so I adapt my teaching methods to suit each student’s needs and learning style.
I aim to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their ideas. My goal is not only to help students improve their academic performance but also to build their confidence in using the language in daily communication. With patience, clear explanations, and engaging activities, I strive to make every lesson meaningful, enjoyable, and effective for my students.

My tutoring approach focuses on creating an engaging and supportive learning environment for students through an online platform. I teach both English and Bahasa Melayu to students aged 7 to 15 years old, mainly primary and lower secondary school students. I believe that students learn best when lessons are interactive, clear, and suited to their level of understanding. During my classes, I use simple explanations, guided practice, and interactive activities to help students stay interested and motivated while learning.
My teaching methodology focuses on developing the four important language skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. I include activities such as reading passages, vocabulary exercises, short writing tasks, speaking practice, and listening activities to strengthen students’ overall language ability. I also provide grammar guidance and encourage students to ask questions so they can better understand the language and use it confidently.
A typical online lesson usually lasts 60 minutes. The lesson begins with a short warm-up activity to review previous knowledge, followed by the main learning activities that focus on one or more language skills. At the end of the lesson, I provide feedback and a short recap to reinforce what the student has learned.
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Teaching English as a Second Language (BTESL) and have gained teaching experience through my academic training. My lessons are suitable for students who need extra support in English or Bahasa Melayu, want to improve their language skills, or wish to build more confidence in communication and schoolwork.
