About Mark
Hello! I’m a native British English tutor with 15+ years of experience teaching and supporting thousands of international and adult learners. Over the years, I’ve helped students develop the English they need for exams, education, work and everyday life — with a strong focus on practical communication and measurable progress.
I specialise in IELTS, ESOL, Academic English, Business English and Corporate English, combining expert subject knowledge with a friendly, personalised approach. My experience includes delivering IELTS and Academic English programmes to international learners and developing learning materials, assessments and resources.
My teaching focuses on clear pronunciation, natural fluency, accurate grammar and the confidence to communicate effectively. Whether you need to prepare for an IELTS exam, improve your English for work, communicate more professionally, or simply feel more confident speaking English, lessons are tailored around your individual goals.
Exam preparation takes time. Booking a few days before your exam is unlikely to give you the preparation needed to make significant progress. I recommend starting early so we can identify your strengths and weaknesses, build the right skills and practise effectively.
