About Jody

I have a BA in English, a teaching certificate in in English ,and I am currently pursuing my MA in curriculum and Instruction. I have spent over 10 years in a traditional classroom teaching English and ESL and over 5 years teaching ESL online to students all over the world.
I love teaching. I believe everyone can learn and as a teacher if I have a student who is not progressing I see that as my failure not the students. It is my job to change how I am teaching not the students job to change how they learn.
I can’t wait to meet you and get started!

About the lesson

I believe that every student learns differently. When working with students I structure every lesson towards each individuals learning style. Your lesson will be completely unique from any other depending on your strengths and how you will best understand, comprehend and remember the lesson.
I use a variety of techniques in every lesson. I like to combine speaking, phonetics, gamers, writing, reading, and even virtual field trips in my lesson plans. therefore, your lessons.
I teach all ages and all areas of ESL and guarantee you will have a successful, fun, and encouraging experience.
