I am a tutor and editor who has helped hundreds of high school and college level students succeed in their writing assignments for more than three years. With my help, students have gained writing skills, improved their grades and gone on to graduate high school or earn college degrees.

I meet each student where they are at. Each person is different and no one writing process is perfect for everyone. Some students are already great writers who just want some help polishing their papers. I'm happy to provide constructive feedback and tips to help you improve your individual paper while giving you tips and tricks that can help you in the future. Some people need assistance with their pre-writing and research stage. I'm here to guide you and offer encouragement along the way. Some students want some longer term help to improve and hone the skills involved in academic writing, or in developing a research and writing process that works for them. I will help you to identify your strengths and weaknesses and help you to build your skills from there. Some people don't know what kind of help they need. That's okay, and I'm here to help you figure out what your individual needs are. My ultimate goal is to be your writing ally in any way that you need.
Note: Due to the circumstances imposed by the pandemic, all lessons will be conducted online currently. This can be Skype, Zoom, Facetime or others. I will be open to in person lessons in the future.

Details
Sessions scheduled less than 24 hours in advance will be subject to a higher rate of $18/hour, unless previously agreed upon by the tutor and student. Students who cancel with less than 12 hours' notice will be charged at my regular rate for one hour ($15). Exceptions will be made on a case-by case basis in extenuating circumstances such as emergency, illness or unforeseen circumstances.
