About Alan
I’m a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County with several years of experience tutoring college-level math and physics. I’ve taught technical subjects such as avionics, optics/lasers, and electronics, and I’ve worked with high school and college students in algebra, precalculus, calculus, engineering, and introductory physics. I focus on helping students build strong problem-solving skills and confidence. I enjoy making challenging topics approachable and creating structured, practical lessons that fit each student’s learning style and goals. I’m based in the Frederick area and offer both online sessions and local in-person tutoring when available.
