About Shivangi
Passionate and results-driven Geography & Math educator with a strong UPSC background and 7+ years of experience designing learning programs and teaching these subjects at my NGO, Suneeta Suman Foundation, for underprivileged children. Completed post graduation in Mathematics and B.Tech, and developed a deep conceptual command over Math and Geography during UPSC preparation, which helps simplify even difficult topics like advanced arithmetic, algebra, mapping, climatology, and Indian geography for school and competitive-exam students. I love teaching, and this platform gives great opportunities to connect with students and share my knowledge; I am excited to explore this opportunity fully. My teaching style focuses on clear concepts, practical examples, and regular practice, tailored to each student’s needs, with patience and empathy gained from working closely with underprivileged children. For my teaching approach, I begin with assessing each student’s current knowledge and identifying areas needing focus. I use clear explanations supported by real-life examples and visual aids to make complex concepts understandable. Classes follow a structured plan, starting with a review, introducing new topics step by step, practicing problems, and ending with a summary and Q&A to ensure clarity. My special focus is patience, personalized attention, and adapting techniques to each student’s learning style. I teach school-level and early college students in Geography and Maths, including those preparing for competitive exams. This approach helps build strong foundations and confidence effectively.
