I am currently the Head of Geography, with lots of GCSE and A Level experience. I also used to be the Deputy Head of Sixth Form. I have a degree in Politics, whereby I specialised in British Politics (my dissertation was on Thatcherism).

I am very interested in the theories surrounding cognitive load and delivered many CPD sessions to other teachers to help improve their teaching. I also start a lesson with a knowledge recall test, followed by ‘dual coding’ (which is aimed at reducing words on the screen and replaces them with simple images).
