About Athi
I am currently a medical student with a strong passion for teaching and supporting students in achieving their academic goals. Having recently been in the same position myself, I understand how challenging and overwhelming studying can feel — especially when you are motivated to succeed but lack the right guidance.
Studying medicine has taught me how to manage multiple demanding subjects effectively and develop efficient learning strategies. I understand the discipline, organisation and exam technique required to achieve top grades. I aim to share not only subject knowledge, but also practical advice on how to approach difficult topics, structure revision and perform confidently in exams.
My goal is to provide clear guidance, encouragement and structured support to help students reach their full potential.

I offer 1–2 hour lessons tailored to KS3, GCSE, A-Level and secondary STEP students. My teaching approach focuses on building strong foundational understanding before moving on to application and exam technique.
We begin by thoroughly covering the core content to ensure clarity and confidence. Once the topic is understood, we work through structured practice questions, followed by exam-style questions. I place strong emphasis on teaching students exactly how to approach, structure and phrase their answers to maximise marks. To consolidate learning, I provide targeted exam question bank practice.
Students are set homework on the topics covered, incorporating spaced repetition and active recall to strengthen long-term retention. I also create personalised study timetables aligned with each student’s school curriculum to keep them organised and on track throughout the year.
