About Angie
I am currently taking five A-levels: maths, further maths, biology, chemistry and music. If it were not for limitations in time management, I would have also taken English literature! I would love to share my tips and advice on how to strengthen various areas.

As a student myself, I believe that learning requires independent thought in order to fully grasp a concept in biology. Stimulating students to voice their thinking processes will build confidence in their answers, thus allowing them to present cohesive and convincing workings and written work.
Exam technique is something that needs to be built upon in order to achieve high grades. As biology is a subject demanding deep understanding for complex application questions, I strive to engage my students in the subject, often presenting exam questions that require a bit of problem-solving. This can motivate my students into spending some of their time on the topic, encouraging them to enjoy it rather than hate it- which is very important!
