About Tosin
Hello! My name is Tosin. I'm a highly professional and passionate Mathematics Teacher. In addition to my undergraduate and graduate education at Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria, I am certified as a Teacher of Mathematics by Cambridge assessment international Education. I also hold a post graduate diploma in education(PGDE). I have 10 years Working experience as a Mathematics teacher at various international schools.
My approach to teaching is to actively involve the student in every stage of the problem. Be it initial setup, gathering and understanding data, applying concepts and formulas or figuring out units – you will have a leading role in performing these tasks. My teaching method is interactive: I let the student figure out solution by asking leading questions, drawing analogies and providing additional hints if such help is needed.
Whether you are a college freshman seeking help with calculus or geometry, a high school junior struggling algebra, trigonometry, numbers, or if you simply need practice, exam preparation and additional insight into the subject matter, go ahead and book me. I will answer your questions, teach you the fundamentals, and provide direction in your study.
Many of my students achieve distinction in their test and Exams. I teach fundamental concepts in a clear and interactive way, minimizing memorization and drawing on examples from real life whenever possible. Perfect! I asked him last minute if we could go over the entire chapter calculus, even though that usually takes a week or two. He somehow explained everything super clearly and fast.
