About Fatimah
Hello, I’m Fatimah, a dedicated Mathematics tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students develop confidence in Maths. I have several years of tutoring experience working with students at different levels, and I enjoy making challenging concepts easier to understand through clear, structured explanations.
I work with students following the UK curriculum, including KS2, SATs and GCSE Maths. I understand that students learn at different speeds and may have different strengths and areas for improvement, so I adapt my lessons to suit each learner’s individual needs and goals.
My aim is not simply to help students find the correct answer, but to help them understand why a method works and develop the skills to approach unfamiliar questions independently. I create a friendly and supportive environment where students can ask questions freely, learn from mistakes, and gradually build confidence in their mathematical ability.

My lessons are personalised, interactive, and focused on building a strong understanding of mathematics. I begin by identifying the student’s current level and areas that need attention, then tailor each session around their learning objectives.
Lessons can include concept explanations, step-by-step worked examples, targeted practice, problem-solving, homework support, and exam-style questions. For SATs and GCSE students, I also focus on applying mathematical knowledge to different question styles, improving accuracy, and developing effective exam techniques.
I cover key areas of the UK Maths curriculum, including number, fractions, decimals and percentages, algebra, ratio and proportion, geometry, measurement, statistics, probability, and problem-solving.
Whether a student needs to strengthen their foundations, keep up with schoolwork, prepare for SATs or GCSE exams, or simply become more confident in Maths, each lesson is adapted to their individual needs and pace.
