About Neha
I'm a passionate tutor dedicated to helping students build confidence, master challenging concepts, and reach their academic goals. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to their individual needs, whether they're preparing for a standardized exam, improving classroom performance, or strengthening foundational skills.
I graduated from the University of Houston with a 4.0 GPA while earning dual degrees in Biology and Economics. I also scored 515+ on the MCAT (getting admission to UTMB med school) and a 34 on the ACT, giving me firsthand experience with the preparation and strategies required for competitive exams.
My tutoring style is patient, interactive, and highly personalized. Rather than simply giving answers, I teach students how to think critically, recognize patterns, and develop effective problem-solving strategies they can apply independently. I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, because that's where meaningful learning happens.
Whether we're preparing for the MCAT, SAT, ACT, math, science, reading, writing, or another subject, my goal is to help students not only improve their scores and grades but also leave each session feeling more confident and capable than when they started.

I believe the best tutoring goes beyond simply teaching content—it helps students understand how to think through problems independently and approach challenging material with confidence.
I work with students across a wide range of subjects, including MCAT, SAT, ACT, biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, reading, writing, and English. Whether a student is preparing for a standardized exam, strengthening classroom performance, or building foundational skills, I tailor every lesson to their individual goals, learning style, and current level.
My teaching approach is highly personalized. During our first session, I assess each student's strengths, weaknesses, and objectives so we can develop a targeted plan together. Rather than assigning unnecessary homework, I focus our time on the areas that will produce the greatest improvement. For students who need content review, I come prepared with structured lessons and explanations that build strong conceptual understanding. For students who already know the material but struggle with applying it, we work through challenging practice problems and passages together, emphasizing critical thinking, efficient problem-solving strategies, and test-taking techniques.
For standardized exams such as the MCAT, SAT, and ACT, I place a strong emphasis on recognizing patterns in mistakes instead of simply reviewing individual questions. We analyze why an answer was missed, determine whether the issue stems from a content gap, reasoning error, passage interpretation, or timing, and then build strategies to prevent similar mistakes in the future. This approach helps students make meaningful, lasting improvements rather than memorizing isolated facts.
I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through difficult concepts. My goal is not only to improve scores and grades but also to build confidence so students can approach future challenges independently.
My academic background includes graduating from the University of Houston with a 4.0 GPA while earning dual degrees in Biology and Economics. I scored 515+ on the MCAT and earned a 34 on the ACT, giving me firsthand experience with the preparation, discipline, and strategies required to succeed on competitive standardized exams.
I work with middle school, high school, college, graduate, and professional students. Whether you're preparing for the MCAT, SAT, ACT, AP courses, college coursework, graduate-level writing, or simply looking to strengthen your academic foundation, I look forward to helping you achieve your goals.
