About Emily
I’m a Nashville recording artist with several years of experience in performance, vocals, guitar, and songwriting. I’ve been teaching music lessons for multiple years and have been a finalist in songwriting competitions. As a full-time musician, I bring the perspective of both an experienced teacher and a lifelong student. Having been on both sides of the lesson, I understand what works, and what doesn’t, and I create a supportive, pressure-free environment where students feel confident, encouraged, and challenged at the right pace.

I believe in keeping lessons simple, practical, and personalized to each student. My goal is to help you build a strong foundation so you can sing and play at your best, and then build confidently on top of that.
I start by learning your goals: what you want to improve, what songs you love, and what you’re currently working on. From there, we focus on what matters most to you, while also incorporating essential foundational techniques that support long-term growth.

Breath control, tone, pitch, range, and vocal strength
Practical guitar skills: chords, rhythm, and song accompaniment
Technique applied directly to real songs, not just exercises

I encourage students to bring an audition song, performance piece, or song they’re currently practicing so lessons feel relevant and immediately useful.
