About Wong
I am teaching Japanese and Mandarin language at my own language center for over 10 years starting from 2013. Besides conducting class to learners from all background and level, I am also work as translator and interpreter for both language. I have been helping countless students excel in JLPT and HSK exam.

Excellent! Teacher Ellie was really good with our daughter, bringing lots of enthusiasm and energy to the lessons. Our daughter enjoyed them a lot.
Perfect! Such a great teacher, I feel like I learn at a very fast pace with her & she's able to adapt to different schedules if needed
Perfect! Ellie is a great teacher, really enthusiastic about Chinese and language learning in general! She prepares good lesson activities and is fun and quite firm when it comes to pronunciation. Her use of on screen calligraphy is also useful for beginners.

Perfect! She was cheerful and friendly with my children, and the lessons looked fun. She quickly grasped the characteristics of the children and suggested their current level and study methods. Most importantly, she can speak Japanese, which was very reassuring for us, whose native language is Japanese.
Perfect! Based on my 1st trial class with Ms. Ellie (Wong). It was a good and structured class. Whereby she had some beginner materials we went over with and she always corrected my intonation even though at times I can be hopeless as the intonations can make the words mean totally something else.

Sensei is very patient when it comes to teaching students. If you have a problem understanding, she is just a text away. Teaching materials are not only textbooks, she also includes reading Japanese articles and news online. The explanations are very easy to understand, Sensei often uses examples that we can relate to and explain. She also encourages students to speak even if they are not confident, and she will do her best to help them feel comfortable and practise the language with her.
Ms. Wong is an exceptional Mandarin tutor! Her clear and engaging teaching style makes learning enjoyable and effective. She has been instrumental in my self-improvement journey, helping me build confidence in Mandarin while preparing for the HSK 1 exam. Highly recommend her for anyone looking to improve their skills!
Ellie-sensei is very perceptive during the session and is able to quickly cater to the student’s strengths and provide immediate feedback on how they should improve on their weaknesses. She is also a very natural conversationalist and is able to blend teaching with practical conversational tips as well. Very friendly and welcoming, perfect for beginner learners of the language.
I am happy that my son, Afif, is more passionate to complete his N3 this year, especially after a good comment, guidance and recommendation by the teacher. He is comfortable and can get along with the teacher's teaching style and commitment.
