About Kristen
Hi there! Do you want to advance your guitar playing and learn your favourite songs?
My passion for guitar started as a child, where I picked it up through books and video lessons. I then did 10 years of music education, where I picked up other instruments such as piano, saxophone and flute. I am an experienced performer in fingerstyle guitar, pop guitar and acoustic playing.
I taught in a music school for 3 years and now teach privately, for students of all ages and groups. Teaching is my passion as I love music and enjoy sharing it with others.
My teaching approach is using the play-by-ear technique, which fosters creativity, faster learning, deeper musicality and confidence.
I cater my lessons to your learning style, to help you achieve your goals. You will be able to learn the right techniques to play along to your favourite songs or perform for your family and friends.
