About Yangyi

I am Yangyi and I teach with a passion for music as an inspirational and art that is free for interpretation. By developing the students’ understanding of music, I hope that in the lessons students could develop their own style of music after a certain period and achieve success in ABRSM grades or personal achievement.

About the lesson

After finishing ABRSM grade 8 piano and furthering on ARSM diploma in performance, I have been teaching piano for a year. I am specialised in teaching children piano from beginner course and ABRSM grades as I have been teaching for more than a year. Good reviews and easy to communicate with.

Whenever we hangout, Yangyi always tries her best to teach me piano as I'm very bad at it. She never once got impatient with me which I think is very impressive. She's also very confident in piano and she gives the best performances ever!

My son Johnson has been learning piano and theory with her for many years. She is a lovely and wonderful teacher and she's so passionate in her teaching. She will make the lessons interesting even though the student is tired.
