About Indi

Hello, my name is Indi. I’m a friendly and patient school support professional with over 10 years of experience working with children in primary education. I have supported pupils in Reception and Year 1, delivering phonics sessions and targeted interventions to help children gain confidence and make progress.

I enjoy helping young learners develop key skills in reading, phonics, and basic maths while also feeling safe, supported, and motivated. My lessons are tailored to each child’s needs, and I aim to create a positive, encouraging space where children can explore, ask questions, and enjoy learning.

I hold a current DBS check and have extensive experience supporting children with a range of learning and emotional needs. My goal is to help every child build confidence, achieve progress, and enjoy learning in a calm, engaging environment.

About the lesson

My online lessons are designed specifically for young learners aged 4–7 and focus on building confidence as well as essential skills. Sessions are interactive, structured, and tailored to each child’s needs, using visuals, games, and step-by-step guidance to keep learning fun and engaging.

I focus on:
• Phonics (blending, segmenting, and reading development)
• Early reading and comprehension
• Basic maths skills and number confidence
• Support for children who need extra help keeping up in class
• Gentle emotional support for children who may feel anxious, shy, or worried

Lessons are short (30–45 minutes) to suit young children’s attention spans, and I can provide simple follow-up activities for practice at home if parents wish. My aim is to create a positive, encouraging space where children feel safe to ask questions, explore new skills, and make progress at their own pace.
