About Ali
I am a computer systems engineer with experience in both software and hardware development. I completed my PhD in Computer Engineering from Purdue University, Indiana, USA in 2013. I have worked at Google, AMD, Oracle and am currently working at ARM.

I am an experienced software engineer, and I teach programming to students at various levels of expertise. I have taught undergraduate computer science students as well as junior school students.
I make no assumptions about students prior knowledge and am careful to keep my instructions simple. Programming like other forms of engineering requires both academic knowledge as well as skill. In order to perfect both of these aspects of programming, I combine lectures on theoretical concepts with programming exercises. I am also well versed in preparing for programming interviews.
