About Chantal
Hi! My name’s Chantal, I’m based in the southeast suburbs, and I’m offering in-person and online English tutoring for years 7-12. A bit about me; in 2022 I graduated from McKinnon Secondary with a 47 study score in English and as the Literature Dux. I scored a 96.15 ATAR and am now studying Law at Monash University. I also have 140+ hours of tutoring experience and a valid WWCC. For many, English is that compulsory subject that is occasionally loved, but more often loathed. With proper guidance and support, I believe English can become the former. I understand the challenges and, more importantly, I can show you that writing doesn't need to be daunting. Things I like to do in my spare time include pilates, yoga and traveling!

With my lessons, I’ll try to make them as clear-cut and enjoyable as an after-school English tutoring lesson can be. I think if you can genuinely enjoy your work and, as such, properly engage with it, you’ll learn. Lessons generally last for one hour but I can be flexible with times if needed :) I’ve also acquainted myself with the new VCE English study design, and am more than willing to learn a new text or two if your school’s texts aren’t in my repertoire. I have experience tutoring a range of year levels and personalize my lessons to your needs. If you're interested in a lesson or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to send me a message.
