About Sarah
Hello I’m Sarah (you can call me Miss Cody if you prefer) and I’m passionate about teaching and helping young people progress. I graduated from Durham university with a degree in Natural Sciences and continued my studies with a MSc in Botany. I have a PGCE (teaching degree) and have worked in UK schools teaching science with a biology specialism, up to A level for the past 7 years. Looking forward to meeting you!

7 years experience as a science teacher up to GCSE (examboard AQA) and Biology to A level (AQA). I tailor each lesson to my students needs and can teach to both higher and foundation students as well as to triple students. I’ve worked at 2 comprehensive secondary schools in the UK, one in Birmingham and the other in Chiswick and have the subject knowledge, pedagogical skills and resources to make every lesson excellent and enjoyable. I have high expectations of my students and want them to work to their potential. Each lesson will combine teaching along with practice exam questions and homework (for those extra ambitious students). Looking forward to meeting you!
